Heavy Duty Black Strap Hinges 18" 450mm Hook and Band

These UK-manufactured strap hinges are perfect for driveway gates, garage doors, sheds, barns, stable doors, side gates, and security doors. Made from thick steel with a BZP finish, they offer heavy-duty performance and corrosion resistance. All fixings are included for easy installation.

The top hook can be fitted upside down for added security, preventing the door from being lifted off. For optimal use, the hook and band should be about a third of the gate width, or half for heavy gates. Note that some movement may occur between the band and hook. This straight hinge design allows the door to be proud of the post unless the pin is sunk into the gate frame.
